What Daffa Labs collects through this website and client enquiries, why we use it, and how you can ask us to access, correct or delete it.
Who controls your data
Daffa Labs, Limerick, Ireland, is the controller for personal data collected through this website, booking flow, emails and direct client enquiries. You can contact us at info@daffalabs.ie.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to provide: your name, email address, optional phone number, business name, project notes, booking choices, and messages you send us. We also store essential preferences such as your theme and cookie choice. Optional analytics are disabled unless you accept them.
If you become a client, we may also keep proposal, scope, invoice, payment-reference and project-delivery records. Payments are not processed on this website. If a payment is required, Daffa Labs creates a Wise payment link in the Wise app and shares it with you directly.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and prepare for booked calls.
- To create proposals, deliver agreed work and provide support.
- To keep records required for accounts, tax, contract and dispute purposes.
- To improve this website using consented, privacy-respecting analytics if enabled.
We do not sell personal data, run advertising profiles, or send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
Legal basis
We usually rely on pre-contract steps and contract performance when you ask about work or become a client, legitimate interests for basic business records and security, legal obligation for tax/accounting records, and consent for optional analytics or any non-essential storage.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers where needed, such as website hosting, email, calendar/booking tools, Wise for direct payment links, accounting support and project tools. They only receive what is needed for the service. If a project needs us to process your customers' personal data on your behalf, we will agree the processor terms separately before that work starts.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and booking messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Client project and accounting records are kept for the period needed for contracts, tax, accounting and legal claims. If we no longer need a record, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights and deletion requests
You can ask to access, correct, restrict, object to or delete your personal data. Email info@daffalabs.ie with "Data request" in the subject and enough detail for us to identify the record.
We will respond within one month where GDPR applies. Deletion may not cover records we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, contract or dispute reasons, but we will explain any limit clearly.
Do you need a DPA?
For ordinary website visitors, enquiries and direct service clients, a separate Data Processing Agreement is usually not needed because Daffa Labs decides how it handles its own enquiry and client administration records.
A DPA is needed if Daffa Labs processes personal data on behalf of your business as your processor, for example importing your customer list, building automations that handle your customers' messages, or maintaining a client portal with your customer data. If that applies, we will put a project-specific DPA in place before processing that data.

Please contact us first so we can fix the issue. You also have the right to contact the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
